Garrett PowerMax™ turbocharger direct-fit upgrades for the Volkswagen and Audi 1.8L/2.0L TSI engine MQB platform are engineered to increase engine performance while maintaining OEM installation specifications. Stage 1 (G2T2260S rated at 485HP) and Stage 2 (G25-660 rated at 600HP) upgrades maximize efficiency and air flow compared to the OEM turbocharger. High temperature, Mar-M alloy turbine wheel and twin scroll stainless steel turbine housings are rated for up to 1050° C. These turbochargers are fully assembled with a calibrated electronic actuator and ancillary components for direct OEM fitment.
The large Garrett G25-660 is capable of an overall approximately 59% greater peak power output than the popular IS38 turbochargers found factory on the Audi S3 and Volkswagen Golf R with only minimal increase in turbo lag thanks to its eficient and reliable ball bearing design. Capable of reaching over 600HP, this turbocharger is ideal for high performance builds seeking a fast spooling setup with a wide powerband and a massive top end.
Garrett PowerMax turbochargers are a direct fit upgrade and require zero machining or fabricating. The turbochargers arrive install-ready and the included and pre-mounted electronic wastegates come factory-calibrated.
