Vehicle models that have a "facelift" (late production) variant, occasionally have slightly different body designs, which can result in the incompatibility of an otherwise compatible part (with the pre-/post-facelift variant of that same model). This usually only applies to some body parts such as fenders, bumpers, skirts and other components of the vehicle which are designed in conjunction with those portions of the car such as headlights and exhaust systems.
